For me, art is something personal, while design is a communicative force. Calibrating the balance between art and design, the internal and external, is something I mull about quite a bit.
 
I generally welcome a good amount of mess, to which I like to dress up with some structure – the word I am thinking of here is ‘controlled mess’. I also work towards being a human that embodies simplicity with depth – someone who is hopefully as wide as a puddle, but as deep as maybe a pond?

jolly.on.designs originally started as an avenue for me to produce design and illustration works that give a peek inside my brain. These span across thoughts, ideas, creative frameworks and perspectives that I have developed over the course of my life experiences. 

Today, I like to think of it as a one-man studio where I get to work on a variety of art and design projects.
